TV Bands Channel List Message Format

802.22 query and response are contextually complete messages but do not describe encapsulation.

WSDB messages are not contextually complete.

We employ a channel list structure which accommodates FCC requirements and potential international TV Band initiatives. This is accomplished by extending the 802.22 message to accommodate YES/NO codes in the channel list and add option for Database notes.

Devices may specify their desired message encapsulation (XML, JSON, HTML, etc.)

Additional parameters may be added in the “Optional” field as required.
